Port d'Alcúdia is a lively coastal destination in northern Mallorca, known for its large marina and long beach. Additionally, its seafront promenade is filled with restaurants, bars, and shops.
Port d'Alcúdia is the lively coastal sister of the medieval Alcudia town just inland. Built around a working marina and the longest beach in Mallorca, it's packed with all-inclusive hotels, family resorts, beachfront restaurants and water-sport operators. The transfer from Palma Airport takes about 45 minutes by private car.
The bay's water is shallow for hundreds of metres, which is why it dominates family-holiday lists year after year. The seafront promenade runs almost without interruption from the marina south to Playa de Muro and Can Picafort, perfect for cycling or evening walks. Boat trips leave the marina daily for Cap de Formentor and the offshore island of Aucanada with its iconic lighthouse. Just behind the resort, the Albufera wetlands offer 1,700 hectares of birdwatching trails — a striking contrast to the busy beach scene.
If you're travelling with luggage, kids or a group, the public bus to Port d'Alcúdia is hard work — there's a connection in Palma and a long final leg. A Janer-Bus private transfer takes you door-to-door in about 45 minutes, with a fixed price, free child seats, and live flight tracking so we adjust to your actual landing time. Vehicles range from saloons for couples up to 16-seat minibuses for larger groups.
