Can Picafort

Can Picafort sits on the southern half of the Bay of Alcudia, sharing the bay's signature long, shallow beach with neighbouring Playa de Muro and Port d'Alcúdia. It's a quieter, more residential resort than the north end of the bay — built around the church square and the seafront, with a relaxed feel that makes it a long-standing favourite for family holidays. The dunes and pine forest behind Son Bauló — the southern end of the resort — are part of a protected area you can walk or cycle through. The S'Albufera Natural Park is a 10-minute drive away, with marked trails through Mallorca's largest wetland. From the resort itself, boats run to the Levante coast and the bird-rich coves around Cap de Formentor.

The road to Can Picafort takes the Ma-13 motorway and exits through Sa Pobla — straightforward in any season.
