Sa Coma is a coastal destination on the east coast of Mallorca, known for its long fine sandy beach and peaceful atmosphere. It offers a good selection of restaurants, shops, and outdoor activities.
Sa Coma is a quieter east-coast resort directly south of Cala Millor, sharing the same long curve of fine sand but with a more residential feel. The Punta de n'Amer Natural Reserve sits between the two — pine forest and cliff paths leading to a 17th-century watchtower at the highest point. The transfer from Palma Airport takes about 60 minutes.
The 17th-century Castell de Sa Punta de n'Amer is a 30-minute walk from the southern end of Sa Coma's beach — bring a bottle of water and head up early in the morning before the heat. Safari Zoo is a few minutes' drive inland for families with younger kids. The promenade north into Cala Millor takes about 25 minutes on foot — useful for the bigger range of restaurants and bars that side.
Sa Coma is a 60-minute drive on the Ma-15, with the public bus involving a change in Manacor. A Janer-Bus private transfer goes door-to-door for a fixed price, with vehicles for any group size, child seats on request and live flight tracking — useful for late evening landings when public-transport options dry up.
