Cala Millor is one of the most popular tourist destinations on the east coast, known for its extensive beach and its lively seafront promenade, filled with bars, restaurants, and shops, creating a vibrant atmosphere both day and night.
Cala Millor is one of Mallorca's classic east-coast resorts, built around a long curve of fine sand that flies the Blue Flag every year. The shallow water makes it a strong choice for families, and the beachfront promenade runs almost three kilometres south to Sa Coma, lined with cafés, mini-golf and small shops. The transfer from Palma Airport takes about 60 minutes by private car.
Walk the protected Punta de n'Amer headland between Cala Millor and Sa Coma — pine forest, cliff paths and a 17th-century watchtower at the top with one of the best coastal views on the island. Safari Zoo is a few minutes inland for families with younger kids, and the medieval town of Artà sits 20 minutes north for a half-day trip. The Wednesday morning market in Sant Llorenç is the local pick.
Cala Millor is one of the longer transfers from Palma, and the public bus involves a change in Manacor. A Janer-Bus private transfer goes door-to-door for a fixed price, with child seats included on request and live flight tracking — useful for late evening landings when the public-transport options dry up.
